Detroit Sports Weekend

Wow, what a weekend for sports here in Detroit this weekend. The Wings won yesterday to tie their series at 1-1 with San Jose. They came back from a goal down to win, good stuff. The Pistons swept the Orlando Magic to move on to the next round. They'll play the Chicago Bull who swept the defending champion Miami Heat..... they get to play Big Ben!!! The Lions drafted Calvin Johnson with the 2nd pick in the NFL draft yesterday, the rest of the Lions draft seemed so so, but you never know! The Tigers had a rough weekend, but won today on a walk of home run by Brandon Inge in the botton of the 9th. So far the pitching hasn't been as good as last year, but they will be formiddable throughout the year, this team is for real. Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski did a great job in assembling this team, thank you Dave! Now, can you pass along some words of advice to Matt Millen?

Last night I had my performance with Candice at the studio, this one was MUCH better than our first. Candice is a great partner, she has the athletcism, looks and talent to be a great dancer, i'm lucky to have her as a partner.

Last, but certainly not least...tomorrow is the viewing for my grandmother, Mary Fuerst. All of the family are in town now, the viewing begins at 1:30. It was an emotional couple of days for sure.
